  3. Fostering Creativity and Expressive Abilities

Childcare Program

  • Circle Time

    Circle Time

Every day, we set aside time for the children to gather in a circle and discuss a common theme. By sharing their own opinions and listening to others, they develop their expressive abilities, communication skills, and imagination.

  • Imagination Time

    Imagination Time

Children choose one character from five different options and engage in activities such as crafts, drama, and dance related to that character. By fully immersing themselves in the role, they develop their imagination, creativity, and communication skills.

  • Learning Center

    Learning Center

Within the preschool, there is a 'Learning Center' filled with items that stimulate the children's intellectual curiosity, such as picture books and various materials. Every day, the children choose one item from here to learn about, helping them develop independence and focus.

  • English Lessons

    English Lessons

Together with a native-speaking instructor, the children aim to develop all four English skills through daily lessons. They learn in a fun and broad way, incorporating phonics for pronunciation, flashcards, and music. They cover a wide range of topics, from basic greetings, dates, and weather descriptions to even math.

  • Japanese Lessons

    Japanese Lessons

From basic learning of hiragana, katakana, and kanji to exploring Japanese culture and traditions, we set aside time every day for children to learn about their native culture. In addition to reading and writing, they also practice speeches to develop their communication skills.

  • Field Trips and Outdoor Activities

    Field Trips and Outdoor Activities

Every day, the children spend about an hour engaging in physical activities at a nearby park. In addition, we plan more than three outdoor activities each year, and hold a summer camp in the summer. By enjoying activities outside the preschool, they develop social skills and a curiosity and interest in nature.

Initiatives for Food Education

Focusing on the children's 'health' and 'interest in food,' our meals are planned by a registered dietitian and prepared in the preschool's kitchen. We use ingredients that are, whenever possible, 'domestic,' 'additive-free,' and 'unprocessed,' ensuring the meals are both safe and delicious.

At the preschool, we hold a 'food education' class once a month and also provide a 'cooking' time. Through these activities, children learn about seasonal ingredients and experience cooking firsthand, deepening their interest in food. We also work closely with families to address picky eating and help children gradually develop healthier eating habits according to their pace.

FAQ

Can I visit the facility before enrollment?
Visits are by reservation only.
Please select your preferred date and time from the reservation pageto make a booking.
Is there a trial period before enrollment to help children adjust?

We recommend a 'gradual adjustment period' to help children adapt to their new daycare life. This usually lasts about a week after enrollment, during which we gradually increase daycare hours to help children naturally settle into their new environment. If, due to work or other circumstances, you are unable to follow the adjustment period, please consult with the child's teacher.

Please check here for the details.
Additionally, our facility is eligible for the childcare fee exemption program, so children aged 3 to 5 can receive financial support
Can you accommodate food allergies?
For children with allergies, we will remove the specific allergenic ingredients and prepare meals accordingly. However, there may be cases where we are unable to accommodate certain allergies, so please consult with us in advance.
Can the daycare administer medication?
As a general rule, our facility does not administer medication. If medication is required during the day due to a chronic condition or other reasons, please consult with your child's doctor and submit a doctor's medication instruction form and prescription. We will then handle the matter individually.
What is the procedure if a child contracts an infectious disease?
If a child contracts an infectious disease as per the School Health and Safety Act, please contact the daycare immediately. Additionally, the child is not permitted to attend until a doctor's note of permission is submitted.
For information on which infectious diseases require a doctor's note for return, please check here.
What safety measures does the daycare implement?
We follow the safety regulations of Tokyo and have implemented emergency measures accordingly. The entrance to the facility is monitored by electronic security systems and surveillance cameras through a security service provider, Sogo Security. As we take great care in looking after your precious children, all staff members are committed to ensuring immediate response to any danger, raising awareness and vigilance even during daily care.
